Buy Written Power

Written Power licenses are sold on an annual basis. For individuals, there are two types of license: Basic and Premium. For corporate contracts there is a discount on Premium licenses, and for educational contracts there is a discount on Basic licenses. All Written Power licenses provide learners with a username and password that gives them access to the entire online course for one year.

The Premium license

The Premium license provides learners with full access to the Written Power online course and fourteen units of professional coaching. Over the year they are licensed to use Written Power, learners are entitled to send in 3 written assignments to our communication coaches, who will provide constructive feedback.

Written Power places an emphasis on learner responsibility, which includes helping learners practice their skills, rather than simply reading about them. Learners who complete all assignments will receive a Certificate of Professional Development.

The Premium license costs $600 USD for one year.

The Basic license

The Basic license provides full access to the Written Power online course, and learners can submit one assignment for coaching feedback.

The Basic license costs $125 USD for one year.

Learners are welcome to upgrade from the Basic license to the Premium license at any time.

Corporate contracts

For corporate clients, we offer a discount of 10% with the purchase of between five and 25 Premium licenses, and a discount of 15% with the purchase of more than 25 Premium licenses. Please contact us to enquire about setting up a corporate contract.

Educational contracts

For educational clients, we offer an institutional discount on the Basic license only. Educational institutions may purchase a site license at a cost of $1,000 USD for each 100 students. Institutions will then be provided with an institutional username and password for all students to use.

Please note that for educational contracts, an answer key and additional exercises are provided in lieu of marking or feedback. All educational contracts also include an Instructor Handbook that provides lecture notes and a range of learning activities for each unit in the Written Power program. The Instructor Handbook is designed for both the experienced and the relatively new instructor and includes:

• An overview of the pedagogical foundations of the Written Power program.
• A detailed breakdown of the course itself: unit structures, lesson plans and evaluation techniques.
• Background facts and supplementary information on all topics covered in the Written Power course.
• Additional exercises, checklists and practical tips on the instructor's role.
